PALCI members will have access to a free trial of the Frost & Sullivan databases from Oct. 15 - Nov. 13, 2009.

The vendor requests that the trial should only be accessible to library staff and appropriate faculty.  Please do not open the trial to students/your campus at large.

Pricing Offer

Standard prices for academic institutions are as follows:

1)  Business Schools with an MBA program - USD $25,000 for 12 months access
2)  Business Schools without an MBA program - USD $18,000 for 12 months access
3)  Universities/Colleges with a Technology Commercialization office that gain access through the library - USD $ 35,000
4)  Only Technology Commercialization office - USD $12,000 per license

Offer price for PALCI members:

1)  USD $10,000/library with a minimum participation of 10 institutions.

2)  If the minimum 10 members criteria cannot be met, interested members can apply for individual institution access to the database for a 12 month period at USD $ 11,000 if they can sign up before  November 30th 2009. After that date the price will be USD $15,000

3)  If the participating member institution has an MBA program, they would have the option to sign up for a 2 year contract by paying USD $20,000 up front. This option would ensure that there would be no additional price increase that would affect them in the second year of the subscription.
