About the ProductComputing Reviews (CR) aims to provide access to current research, theory and applications in all sub disciplines of computing via the review medium. CR compiles expert, unbiased critical reviews of current publications of note in computing. The goals of CR are to provide an overview of developments in computing to both specialists and generalists who wish to survey the field as a whole; isolate and illuminate quality materials; and build and enhance communities of computer scientists and others by promoting the exchange of ideas. Computing Reviews helps readers manage the large amount of new material published in computer science by pointing them to the best new journal articles and books. Readers also link to full text, receive customized alerts and read multiple points of view. CR has a Web-based production system where 1,000 highly qualified reviewers choose or are assigned books and articles to review and then write and submit their reviews online. Nineteen category editors, experts in fields across all of computer science, read the reviews online and then select the best ones. New reviews are published daily into the Web-based Reader's module for the university and corporate-based reader community. Computing Reviews is a joint effort between Reviews.com and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Reviews.com is responsible for software design and implementation, editorial and content production. ACM provides editorial guidance and recruits category editors. Together they design new features, recruit and qualify new reviewers and build communities of readers and reviewers around topics in computer science.PricingComputing Reviews' pricing is based upon Carnegie Class, and our discount will be based upon the number of participating libraries.
